FAQs
What can I expect?
Interested but still not sure what to expect? Finding a therapist is like trying to find the perfect pair of shoes, the fit must be right! I offer a free telephone consultation to discuss your needs and give you the chance to ask any questions you might have.
what do i need to bring?
I send out information sheets before we start our sessions which go over what you will need. Generally, sensible clothing and footwear including waterproof coat if needed, and a drink.
can i sit down in outdoor sessions?
Yes! Breaks are encouraged, it allows you to pause and reflect or to gather your thoughts – this is not a workout session!
how many sessions will i need?
I offer open ended therapy, there is no need to decide how many sessions you would like, we keep going until you feel you are where you want to be. I do suggest that we have a ending session, where we would look at what you can put into place to keep your momentum going.
What if it’s raining?
Therapy wont work if you don’t want to be there! If the weather is bad – raining, snowing, cold, too hot – then you can choose to have a session online/over the phone, I just ask for an hours’ notice.
what if i get upset in a session?
That’s understandable and ok! I use locations that are quiet, and we can go at your own pace.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.
